Fansipan Cable Car Trip Guide
You can buy tickets at the station with the price of VND 600,000 for adults and VND 400,000 for children. You have to keep the ticket with you and return it after so be careful where you put it. The cable tickets are only valid within the day of purchase so don’t buy the tickets in advance if you don’t have the time to travel on that day. The procedure is quite fast so you don’t have to wait long to buy the tickets anymore.
You don’t have to bring many bulky items but do bring drinking water and snacks because the food and drinks up there are quite expensive. In addition, you should dress warmly and conveniently for climbing. Bring your gloves, scarfs, and hats to shield yourself from the cold because the temperature can drop down to 8 Celsius degree.
When climbing, take it easy because the steps might get a little high and steep. Don’t push yourself too hard, take some rest along the way to let your body get used to the thin air up in high altitude.
