Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Welcome to Vietnam! As you arrive in Hanoi, you will meet your local tour guide and the driver then we transfer to the hotel. Chill out for the rest of the day and enjoy welcome dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Full-day City Tour (B, L, D)
Today we will venture out to explore Hanoi. First, we will drive to the Ho Chi Minh complex, you will admire the Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Then, head to the Temple of Literature, which originally built as a temple to Confucius.
The afternoon journey following your lunch takes you to the Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Continue your steps to the infamous Hoa Lo Prison Museum, which is known as the ‘’Hanoi Hilton’’ and was where former US presidential candidate John McCain was incarcerated for over 5 years. Later this afternoon, we enjoy 1-hour cyclo tour of the French-inspired "old quarter". We will be free for wandering around and shopping in the old quarter. There are many colorful small streets for you to discover which ranges from markets through to designer boutique stores to amazing contemporary art galleries. After dinner, you will have a chance to enjoy a traditional performance of the city’s famous Water Puppets. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Cruising Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Following your breakfast, we set off to Halong Bay – the ‘Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam’. Upon arrival, we will board our boat, set sail, and cruise amongst thousands of extraordinary limestone Karst formations. As soon as you arrive Halong Bay, you will know why it was voted one of ‘The New 7 Wonders of Nature’ in 2011. On arrival at Hon Gai International Harbor, our tour guide will help you to check in the cruise. Then, it’s time for you to enjoy a set menu lunch served in the outdoor dining room (depending on the weather) while cruising into magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay. Admire the breathtaking limestone karsts on the way.
In the mid-afternoon, we cruise to Vung Dang – Cong Dam for fascinating activities such as swimming, kayaking or just relaxing on a white sandy beach. Afterward, return to your cruise to refresh yourself in Mineral Seawater Pool, Fitness Room or the Spa and Massage Services before dinner. Overnight on board.
Day 4: Halong - Hanoi - Fly to Hue (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning to join a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun-deck, immerse in the morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee, and enjoy breakfast in the fresh air. Continue your cruise to Cong Do area to explore the hidden gem Thien Canh Son Cave. Check out your cabin at 10 AM and enjoy a buffet while cruising towards the harbor where our car is waiting and take us back to Hanoi. Transfer to Noi Bai airport and fly to Hue. Welcome upon arrival by local tour guide and driver then we transfer to the hotel in Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue City Tour (B, L)
Pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM, we will board a boat on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded by ancient tombs of emperors in the past. A visit to the most beautiful tombs will be on the today itinerary. The elegant Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Perfume River and the surrounding area. From here, we rejoin our van and go visit King Khai Dinh's Tomb and King Tu Duc's Tomb.
In the afternoon, your tour continues to visit the Hue Imperial Citadel during the Nguyen Dynasty dated back to 1802 and 1945. After discovering the ruins of this wonderful monument, we will then depart to the Hue Royal Fine Art Museum, once home to the former Dien Long An Royal Palace. Finish your tour today with a stroll through the local Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Drive to Hoi An via Danang (B)
After breakfast, we will take a drive to Hoi An along scenic highway 1A. Along the way, we will stop to contemplate the stunning views of Lang Co Beach and get a panoramic view of Danang. On arrival in Danang, we take a brief visit to Cham Museum – the houses of the most complete collection if Cham Artifacts from all over the world; China Beach – where the American named and used as their relaxing place; and the Marble Mountain – the home to five elements of the Universe (water, wood, air, fire and earth). As we arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, you will be free to do whatever takes your fancy for the rest of the day. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An Farming & Fishing Life Eco Tour (B, L)
This morning, we have an early start as we head off to our Farming & Fishing Life Eco Tour. Take the first step from Tra Que Village, we will get a personal insight into the local farming communities. We set about joining the farmers in preparing their land for sowing, helping to fertilize the garden using seaweed from the local river and watering it in using huge tin cans strapped to our backs. Following this, we will begin our leisurely cycling tour through the countryside witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first-hand.
Late morning, we will board a Hoi An Eco-tour boat to cruise along the river. You will have a chance to meet and observe local fishermen working their craft, before enjoying a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. Afterward, we transfer to a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat for a quick race and ride down a coconut palm-lined waterway. Lunch today is on board our boat, which is prepared using vegetables picked earlier at Tra Que Village. We then have some free time to wander around Hoi An town center before heading back to the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
Have breakfast and take free time until your driver transfers you to the Danang airport for your departure flight to Ho Chi Minh. Pick up & transfer to downtown. Spend today’s journey to visit all the highlights of this bustling city such as the Reunification Palace, a palace of old President in Southern Vietnam during the American war; the War Remnants Museum where displays the futility of war in the past; the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, the two sites that we can’t miss when traveling to Ho Chi Minh City. Finally, we drive to the center to go shopping at the famous Ben Thanh market, this bustling and the well-organized market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location and various colorful products. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta, Overnight on Homestay (B, L, D)
This morning, we transfer to Cai Be where we will enjoy our boat trip around Cai Be colorful floating market with various local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Next, we opt to stop at local workshops to visit rice paste, coconut candy, pop-rice, pop-corn production or visit the handicraft village where the local people make special products of rice-net for spring rolls, fish sauce, soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage proof….Afterward, we stop for lunch in a local restaurant. Take a short break before starting your afternoon journey as the rowing boat will take us deeper into the countryside along the canals. It’s easy for you to feel the peaceful atmosphere while passing traditional houses which made of wood, palm tree leaves. You will observe the farmers catching fishes or picking up fruits by the ancestral way in Mekong Delta.
Arriving at home-stay, we check-in and enjoy the last but not least activity of the day is biking. It will be an amazing experience to bike on village paths and witness the local farms, houses, real-life and interesting activities in the countryside. In the rest of the day, we join a cooking class to learn how to cook some Vietnamese dishes with the owners, then enjoy dinner and have a cup of tea or rice wine when talking together. Overnight in a homestay in Cai Be.
Day 10: Mekong Delta - the World of Heneiken (B, L)
Have breakfast and walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning; after that, we take a boat trip to visit the brick kilns where we can observe the way people create beautiful potteries from clay. Our boat will go along the floating village where we will see how the people farm catfish on Mekong River. Stop the boat trip, we can visit Vinh Long market in the town. This is the best choice for us to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetable...Then we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. We enjoy the world of Heneiken for some beer tub here. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh - Fly to Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, we will be free until your driver arrives to take you to the airport for your departure flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our local guide and driver who will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and overnight. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12: Siem Reap – Full–day City Tour (B)
Breakfast at hotel, we will start your Cambodia tour by visiting Angkor Thom including Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch, we head to the most famous temple in the world - Angkor Wat - an architectural masterpiece built in the 12th century. Stretching approximately 210 hectares, Angkor Wat has been considered as one of 100 worthwhile destinations in the world. End the day with the climb to the summit of Bakheng Mountain Temple to view a spectacular sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 13: Siem Reap Temple Tour - Tonle Sap Lake (B)
Breakfast at hotel, today we have a half-day tour to visit Banteay Srei Temple which is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. Built-in pink sandstone, the walls are covered in exquisitely preserved carvings of unique delicacy. This temple is often a favorite destination for travelers not only by its small sizes and fairy-like atmosphere but also its extraordinary examples of Khmer sculpture.
In the afternoon, we visit the great annual flood of Tonle Sap Lake and take a boat to the village of Kompong Phhluk on stilts. Immerse in this great ecosystem by canoeing and hearing the calls of the macaque monkeys as well as observing the forest beneath the lake’s surface. We will also find the Buddhist temple standing on the island with some beautiful Buddhist life painting on the ceiling. For tonight menu, the Phare Cambodia Circus is a great choice to take you back with a troupe of young Cambodians. You will be mesmerized by a spectacular and exciting blend of traditional and modern theater, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling and contortion beautifully choreographed and performed to show you Cambodian life. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 14: Siem Reap - Fly to Phuket (B)
Breakfast at hotel, today is free at leisure until time for transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Phuket. Drive to the hotel and overnight in Phuket.
Day 15: Phuket Beach Day (B)
Enjoy breakfast and get ready to explore Phuket, which is famous for the outstanding beaches, sun, and sea. With over 30 of them around the beautiful island, there’s a wide variety of atmospheres, scenery, facilities and even textures of sand available. There is a list of beaches you can choose from them such as: Kata Beach, Ya Nui Beach, Surin Beach, Paradise Beach,... After having breakfast, we spend all day discovering Krabi Island with stunning sceneries, stunning white beaches that stretch on for miles, a jungle and over 200 islands just of the coast. You can rent a boat from Krabi town or Ao Nang to experience the islands on your own if you are a keen sailor. Next, Thung Teao Forest Natural Park is an ideal destination for you to admire the waterfall and stroll around. End full day of exploration with taking a dip at Klong Thom Hot Springs. Leisure at the resort and beach here in the evening.
Day 18: Krabi - Fly to Bangkok (B) (Tuk-tuk Food Tour)
Leisure at the resort and beach until your driver arrives to take you to Krabi airport for your onward flight to Bangkok. On the way, we stop to enjoy tuk-tuk food tour. It will be an amazing experience for you.
Pick up & transfer to the hotel as you arrive. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 19: Bangkok - Depart (B)
